Just wow! What amazing food! The food in Kuala Lumpur is delicious and cheap! Some of my favorite noodles are called “Char Kuey Teow”. It’s only a little bit under $3, or 13.80 ringgit. It consists of noodles, shrimp, scrambled eggs, veggies, and an amazing sauce.

Then the shopping! Our hotel is in the middle of the city so there are so many malls within 10 min walks. But the main reason we like the mall is because it’s air-conditioned, and because it was so hot out, you just wanted something cold!

I know, I know, your ready for something to not go my way, well your in luck, and here’s the whole story. We went out to dinner one night,we took the metro and then walked a little. We went across a really cool bridge. It was lit up with lights and signs and fog. Once we walked past that, we came to a lot of street stalls. We tried to find somewhere to eat but soon I saw 2 giant rats. We scurried the other way and we were a little freaked out. Then I saw 3 more and then 4 more. We raced to the metro and got out at the mall, and got to the food court, and finally we had dinner. Every day after that, we’ve laughed about that experience. I realize that I will be in uncomfortable situations and I’m so excited that all of you can come along with me on that adventure.

P.S. – here are some extra things that we did.
- Kidzania – kids do grown up jobs like being a doctor, working in a supermarket, making burgers and being a spy, and get paid Kidzos you can spend in the gift shop. We spent almost six hours here because it was so fun.

- Canopy walk through a jungle

- Went up a very high tower-“KL tower”
- Went to the national museum & the Islamic museum of art. The museum was a yawn but the artwork at the art museum was really cool.
- Took the metro a lot
