I think that Kuching was my favorite city! At night the waterfront was lively, with free lights and fountain shows. We could see the river from our hotel window, and the water shows would sometimes shoot fire!

Another fun thing we saw was the orangutans, and even better, we saw them in the wild. We saw the oldest one, and the male alpha and we even got to see them eating.

Now the museums. We went to the Ranee museum, the Borneo Cultures museum, and finally the Upside Down museum.
First, the Upside Down museum. The fee to get in was $13 for all of us. We got to go into a fully furnished upside down house. We took so many photos, but I’ll only show a few!

Next, the Ranee museum. It was really awesome! It was about a woman named Margaret de Wint who became the queen of Sarawak at age 19. Her story was very cool!

The last museum we went to was the Borneo Cultures museum. It was really interactive and fun. It’s only been open for 2 years, but they found a great way to get kids engaged, and learn about the history of Borneo.

But lastly, by far my favorite thing about Kuching is the cats. The city is known as the city of cats, and you see them everywhere. So, cats chase the rats away, and you all know how much I despise rats! They’re just so gross, but I didn’t see a single one!

That’s all for now! If anyone is ever in Malaysia, I hope you go to Kuching!
Thinking about you all, miss you!
