I’ve excepted it. We are going on a 5- and 1/2-month trip around the world. When I first found out, I wasn’t very excited, in fact, I was miserable! I would miss my friends, family, class, my teacher, and lastly, graduation. But I told myself that it was going to be okay!
My parents met traveling and had always wanted to take me and my brother traveling around the world someday. When they first told us, they didn’t really know where we were going to go or what we were going to do, but they did know that they would figure it out. And so, my mom started to book hotels and look into exciting places for us to visit. Me and my dad did some handy work around the house to get ready for going away, and my younger brother was worrying about getting his shots. (He had to get 4, and I had to get 6!) We started to think about what we were going to pack, and what we would bring.
